Mission

Bringing together those already working in Jacksonville to address Positive & Adverse Childhood Experiences (PACEs) and trauma to promote healing and build resilience.

Networking to STRENGTHEN and GROW existing EFFORTS.

TRAINING & RESILIENCE BUILDING

Educate ALL on trauma, Positive and Adverse Childhood Experiences (PACEs), attachment, brain science, and healing via TBRI® to promote resilience through strategies that change beliefs, attitudes, and behavior resulting in reduced child maltreatment.

COMMUNITY & PARTNER ENGAGEMENT

Engage families, professionals, neighbors and communities in multiple levels of TBRI® implementation through authentic relationships, building on the Center of Hope at Emmett Reed partnership in the heart of 32209 as a Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development (KPICD) Designated Florida Partner.

MOBILIZATION & DEVELOPMENTAL GROWTH

Convene & mobilize cross-sector, child- and family-serving  organizations and diverse funders to work within trauma-informed and resilience-building frameworks resulting in policy and systems change.

MESSAGING & CELEBRATION

Strength-based messaging of healthy attachment and child development, positive discipline, family cohesion, TBRI® /TIC/PACEs trainings, events, Nurture Groups, etc.

Celebrate collaborative accomplishments, community stories of healing/resilience, and progress highlights.
