Director of Programs

As Director of Programs at Hope Street, Inc. and TBRI® Practitioner, Jackie is Lead Trainer of customized TBRI® Trainings, a care model that provides parents, caregivers, teachers, service providers, congregations and all who serve children with insight and practical tools to help children in their care reach their highest potential.

Locally, on the Hope & Healing JAX Leadership Team and as Chair of Jacksonville’s System of Care, Jackie provides leadership and shares her expertise. Globally, the Advisory Board for the Karyn Purvis Institute for Child Development at Texas Christian University benefits from her years of experience in the child welfare system, community development and her heart for positive outcomes for the children in our area, nationally and globally.

Jackie joined Hope Street in 2023 following 15 years of leadership at the Florida Department of Children and Families, most recently serving as Community Development Administrator.  Her experience encompasses healing-centered community engagement public and private agency policy and crisis management, media relations, and healthcare.

Prior to joining DCF in 2007 she excelled as Media Relations Officer for the City of Jacksonville and editor of the local, state, and national award winning Neighborhoods Magazine.  Career highlights include the development and direction of statewide crisis management and public safety policy for the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice in Richmond, VA and editorial clerking at The Wall Street Journal, Houston Bureau.
